Takradhara is an exclusive cooling Ayurvedic therapy with medicated buttermilk. A potion is prepared by adding specific medicinal herbs like Amlaki (Indian gooseberry) to buttermilk, which is then poured in a gradual stream over the forehead (as a variant of Shirodhara), or over the entire body (Sarvanga Takradhara).
